What we do with your scan

What we collect

• Your name and email address, so we can send you your reading and handle payment.
• The date of your 12-week scan, so we can account for gestational age when reading the image.
• The scan photo itself.

Data protection

We won't share your email address or any of your other details with anyone outside the small team who prepares your reading. No third parties, no marketing lists, no selling your data on, full stop.

• We'll let you know your result by email, the same address you give us at checkout. We don't use it for anything else.
• Submit on a weekday and your prediction will be with you within 24 hours. Submit on a weekend and it'll be within 72 hours.
• Your scan photo is permanently deleted 48 hours after your assessment is complete, whether or not you were charged.

We keep your name, email and order record for as long as UK tax and consumer law requires for payment records, nothing more.

Payment

Payment is taken and processed entirely by Shopify. We don't see or store your card details at any point, that sits with Shopify and their payment processor.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask us any question about this at any time. Get in touch through the contact details on your order confirmation email.

One more thing

A 12-week scan photo can feel like a medical document, and we treat it with that level of care even though what we're doing with it is entertainment, not medicine. If you'd rather not upload a scan at all, this isn't the service for you, and that's completely fine.
